It's a girl

Found this larva in the garden nearly fully grown and after a bit of feeding up on bramble it pupated. A couple of days ago, only a few days after pupating, it emerged as an adult female. This unusual, virtually wingless insect emits pheromones trying to attract one of the fully-winged day-flying males. I put her in the window of my office at work today and a male duly arrived at about 11am.
