Red-belted Clearwing

Met up with Tony this lunchtime to try out another of the clearwing pheromone lures. I soon regretted the choice of shorts as the route to the old crab apples took us through some fairly dense nettle patches but it was worth it in the end with at least two moths reponding to the 'myo' lure.

We kicked out a few other insects, like the pyralid shown here, and butterflies were plentiful.
